Ceramic nonstick pans should be used with silicone, nylon,or wooden utensils to protect the ceramic nonstick surface. Don't use cookingspray, as it may leave a sticky film residue that is hard to remove and maycause food to stick to the surface. Instead, use an oil mister with olive orvegetable oil or wipe the pan with butter or a dab of oil.
Make sure to use the right heat setting. Use low for sauces,warming, or simmering. Use medium for saute, searing, or frying, grilling. Usehigh heat only for boiling liquids, and never allow to boil dry. Alwayspreheat-nonstick ceramic can take a minute or two to preheat. to optimalperformance, make sure your pan is preheated before adding ingredients.
Just wipe out with a soft cloth and some water and a dab ofdish soap. Never immerse a hot pan, orget a hot pan wet!
